I did not know that Pee-Wee was the voice of Max in "Flight of the Navigator/The Navigator". Well maybe Ashley told me that a while back but suprise still hit me today! This all came about when Mother and I were watching tv last night. We came across William Shattner hosting his new game show ="Show Me the Money". This guy was asked what movie did Paul Reubens make in 1985. He passed cause he wasn't sure if it was "the big adventure" which actually was the answer. Either way I was like 'there is only one movie he made as pee-wee!" I had to check it out on imdb.com and sure enough there is a sequel. Learned something new but the NAVIGATOR?! That movie is forever ruined.

Second week of internship and I feel like an idiot. I don't know half the stuff they request me to do. I am much better at the catalog and notating which doesn't really count since mom has had me doing stuff like that once I learned to count beyond 10. I did get to work on designing a web homepage, re-designing a logo (crashed & burned), and some other stuff. I'm stupid! But it's good to know now....

Coffee shop was over on Sunday. Sadness. I actually liked the atomsphere but with interning and finishing up school, not going to happen. I wasn't doing well there anyways. I went in tonight and let a guy friend borrow the first two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. He was psyched. Did I mention he's only 20years and my 21year old friend has NEVER seen any of the TMNT movies! I was shell shocked.

Looking forward to the Bond movie, deja vu, and the penguin movie. Chances are I won't seem them in theatre but I'm hoping Judy or Stacy will and then give me the entire plot from their perspective. My life is sad.

Plus side -Almost caught up in graphics for multimedia. I wouldn't be behind if it wasn't for MAYA! Bastard of a program! For my other class, I need only learn Poser before I can go on to the final project. I will survive!

I ate too much sugar today. Must sleep. Ashley where are you!?

I hate Quark. I hate that ppl expect everyone with the title of graphic design to know Quark. I hate that ppl still use Quark. I hate Quark.

I never used to hate Quark. I learned InDesign which is an easy to use layout program unlike the restrictions of Quark. So yeah, that's my bitchin at this 12:something hour.

I swear way too much. In public places I find myself saying 'shit' or 'damn' or 'son of a bitch'-although the 'bitch' is silent. You still know what I'm saying. So when I first started swearing it was meant for dramatic emotions and lil jokes here and there. Now that I'm scrambling to get my portfolio together for my interview, I am swearing up and down. Curse, curse, curse!

You Are a Caramel Crunch Donut

You're a complex creature, and you're guilty of complicating things for fun.
You've been known to sit around pondering the meaning of life...
Or at times, pondering the meaning of your doughnut.
To frost or not to frost? To fill or not to fill? These are your eternal questions.

Yesterday, I was almost a half an hour late for work. I forgot that I had to be there at 9:30am and not 10am. I have NEVER been more than 5 minutes late for a job-much less a new one. I was so embarassed. And to top it off, the supervisor was training two of us at once so we didn't even finish 1/2 of what we were supposed to. So yeah, that's my sad story.

DINO SAVES THE DAY!

Somehow my brother "stopped" my computer from receiving an internet connection. I've been waiting 4+ days for my bro to come and fix it...4+ days can seem like a month in 'lack-of-internet' time. Soooo, I contacted Dino -the computer Yoda- and he solved the problem!

Once again, The Dino comes thru

Mom got a computer but couldn't get the Internet. Bro came over and got her the Internet. I have no Internet anymore and no one knows what jackass did. I'm PISSED. That means until Monday, I won't have Internet until Monday at school. I can use my parents but AAAAHHHHHH! Somehow, in some way my computer cannot access the Internet and the three lil signal icon things are gray. I'm PISSED. So how's everyone else?

On the other end, I start buddy training at the coffee shop tomorrow. I'll be a greeter. On Sunday and Monday, I'll work the bar. And two more buddy training until I'm on my own.

I never knew you had to have a license to ride/own a bike. Apparently that was enforced back when our parents were younger but what the hell? And it used to be enforced? What age is that enforced at? Can you imagine a 5-yr wheeling down the block in a sundress, jellyshoes (if any shoes) and a sticky popsicle in hand, being asked for ID? This is one of those random things that just boggle my mind. That and I have so much homework to do in so lil time that my mind is loopy. I need...sugar. I need "teen witch" and "madea" but one friend has both.

Nemesis

0% Extroversion, 80% Intuition, 72% Emotiveness, 47% Perceptiveness

You are a normally quiet person with very strong convictions and a marked activist streak. You have a clearly defined sense of right and wrong, and you like seeing people punished for their transgressions. You are Nemesis, goddess of punishment. You are a champion for the defenseless, you love poetic justice and, if karmic retribution doesn't have its say, then you'll have yours. You are astute, rarely fooled, and idealistic.

Friday -visited Carroll College. Campus the same w/some departmental switches. All the athletes were on campus before the students arrived. Ashley/Judy you would have loved to see this picture of some of the footballers. They're almost in a triangle formation w/this one RA/cool guy at point. They're arms are across their chest and they all look grumpy. Hilarious.
P.S. Jennifer Maney is awesome.

Saturday -worked a short day -happiness! Worked on a portfolio piece for class. a magazine cover of my cousin which may be too plain but I don't want to spice it up too much. I still have to get permission from her mom to use it. Also, I watched TEEN WITCH! Wow. Wow. Wow. This brings a whole new meaning to corny and I loved it all! Ashley, you are amazing. I forgot about the witch book of most popular girls. Convenient? Not to mention all the make-up on Brad-darling. The hair, the clothes....the 80s.

Sunday -worked on my resume using a different format that I don't really like but Jen is going to look it over for me. Started another portfolio piece that may end up being an event promotion for a family reunion. The postcard/invitation is off my two cousins biting into watermelons and is entitled "Watermelon Kids". Then the whole Family reunion thing...blah blah. So far....need to work on the coloring. Anyways, then I watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! "Bitchin" -I forgot Raphael said that in the movie.
Also bought Ghostbusters 1&2 but I want to exchange it for Sixteen Candles. I can order the other off of Amazon. The Last Dragon is sitting in the DVD player. Trying to work on this school project - logo/menu thing for a restuarant. Not feeling it. Maybe tomorrow after the four classes I have....hmmm.... Craving M&Ms -okay ate too many m&ms.

Going to stop now. Judy enjoyed our chat the other day. Good to know you're alive although I was amazed that you were up before 12pm.

My friend Andew has never seen any of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It is one thing to be sheltered and I don't care that he was born in 1985. There was an entire time devoted to Cowabunga, bodacious, totally tubular, etc. It hurt me. I needed to share that.

I love the movie Madea Goes to Jail and have to share some quotes about it.
_____________________________

Madea Goes to Jail quotes

Madea in jail talking to her nephew Sonny.
Madea- “Who’s at home with your son?”
Sonny –“Vanessa.” (the wife)
Madea-“You may as well have left that child at home by himself.”
Sonny –“Madea would you get off my wife?”
Madea –“I wish you had gotten off your wife. We wouldn’t be havin’ this conversation.”

Vanessa attempting to reconcile w/Sonny
Vanessa –“Sonny you’re the only man I ever loved.”
Sonny –“But I’m not the only man you’ll ever screw.”

Sonny talking to his old from Wanda; Co-worker Leo makes comments
Sonny –“Can I get you some coffee?”
Wanda –“Is that all you can afford?”
Sonny (a lil angry) –“Well if you’re nice, you’ll get some McDs.”
Wanda (hands him her business card) –“Why don’t you call me when you can biggy size that.”
Leo –“Can I call you too?.....I can supersize it.” (Wanda leaves) “Hey Sonny, who was that?”
Sonny –“That’s Wanda man. She’s the new head prosecutor.”
Leo –“She can prostitute me anytime.”

Grandpa has been in the hospital since last Saturday. He ended up having gallstones and his gallbladder removed. Given that he's diabetic, it's taken longer for him to heal. Still he's doing well and already moving around. He had/has gangrene all over his gallblader (which had inflated his stomach and caused a LOT of pain) and is still recovering from that as well. He may be able to go home on Saturday which is good cause he's getting unnerved about being in the hospital this long. So glad he's doing better. His sister and niece are coming up today/tomorrow as well so yeah for family support. Just needed to voice my family loving.

Last week I asked one of the friendly managers if he thought that people were just dumb or they just had dumb moments. He said there were both. Long pause. Then I asked, "what about he receptionist team?" He promptly responded, "all the receptionists are dumb. Each in their own way." LOOOOOOOOONNNNNNGGG Pause. 15 minutes later I ask him about the managers and salesteam. Apparently there are some dumb and some good ones, some have brains but don't use them, blah blah blah.

I asked a direct question and got a direct answer but I didn't like the answer. I'm not upset that he said it so blatantly to my face (although w/o making eye contact) but it's that -he called me dumb. Not something like the sales team in which everyone has goods and bads. No, the receptionist team is just plain dumb.

I asked Jeffrey b/c it seems as of late, he's been abusive to the lot attendents and speaking openly about guythings with the rest of the sexually frustrated sales team. Jeff has a great personality but as of late, he is showing off this ugly person that is SO damn condescending to the lot attendent. I love my lot attendents (and my import techs) so that makes me protective. But Jeff assumes that the l.a. is stupid. The lot attendent is covering two departments Jeff! He has to go back and forth between the buildings and can't be at your beck and call.

So yes in my attempt to understand Jeff's superiority complex, I was called dumb. And now he thinks we're supposed to be cool. If you think I'm an idiot, why the hell would I want to hang with you? Don't butter up to me. Glad he could be upfront but I'm not perfect & I am not feeling the "well I did ask him the question so I guess we'll be friends anyway'. Hell to the no.

Glad I could vent that. Much love everyone.

I don't and haven't watched MTV2 of Hitlast or whatever the hell it is before. jessica simpson..."a public affair"...why? It features Kelly from the Bundy's and is just weird. Watching her suck a cone like it's a dick, seeing the roller skate guy lick her shoe and a bunch of other shit. And then they brought on N'sync "tearin up my heart" as the hottest hit of the summer! How do you combine Pussycat's Buttons, Shakira "Hips don't lie" and Nelly furtado's promiscious with NSYNC when they first started? it was fucked up. And that's my adventure into MTV2...or something. Ne-yo or ni-yo...whodis? Children children everywhere. Lil boys making out with 20-some year old model wannabes...hmm...interesting but not really.

Reading "Green Rider" by Kristen Britain. Very good book. Fantasy, magic, female fighters and such. Very entertained but also sleepy.
